Reviewing the glorious historical tradition of Vietnam's revolutionary press, in his speech celebrating the 98th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day, Chairman of the Hanoi Journalists Association To Quang Phan emphasized that promoting the tradition of revolutionary press, effectively implementing the direction of the Party Central Committee, the Government, the City Party Committee, the People's Council, and the City People's Committee in the work of propagating political tasks, Hanoi's press has accurately, quickly, promptly, and vividly reflected all aspects of political - economic - social life, security - defense, and foreign affairs of the capital and the country.

Reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of all classes of people, meeting the increasing needs of the public for information, culture and entertainment. At the same time, always being a pioneer in the fight against corruption and negativity; refuting the false arguments of hostile forces; protecting the ideological foundation of the Party.

In the face of many difficulties, Hanoi press has recently undergone a strong digital transformation. Some agencies have promoted technology development, transforming into a multimedia press agency model.

Implementing the movement "Building a cultural environment in press agencies and culture of Vietnamese journalists", 9 Associations of Journalists of press agencies have organized the signing of commitments with cadres, reporters and members, in which they comply with the 12 criteria of the movement. Up to now, 100% of Associations of Journalists of press agencies in Hanoi have deployed and implemented through many rich and diverse forms suitable to the characteristics of each unit.

Also at the program, the Hanoi Journalists Association commended 9 collectives and 28 individual journalist members with achievements in professional activities and building the Association in 2022; awarded the "For the cause of Vietnamese journalism" Medal to members who contributed to the development of Vietnamese journalism; admitted and awarded membership cards to the Vietnam Journalists Association to new members...
