Diablo IV Season 2 Trading Suspended Indefinitely Due to Hacking

Diablo IV developer Blizzard has decided to indefinitely suspend the game’s “trading” feature to address gold and item duplication (also known as duplication). While it’s unclear when the feature will be restored, the Diablo IV development team revealed that they are working on a fix and will “continue to monitor this activity to ensure a healthy experience for all players.”

Additionally, if you are one of the players using this malicious software, beware as one of Diablo IV's community managers notes that “any accounts engaging in gold and item copy mining will be subject to action under our End User License Agreement.” This means that your account could be suspended or worse, permanently banned if Blizzard discovers any evidence of previous item tampering.

However, many comments under a particular Reddit post indicated that the removal of “trading” was not a huge loss for the gaming community. One user even asked: “Wait, this game has trading?”

“There is absolutely no point in trading in Diablo IV with the way they designed the loot system,” shared an account named BRich1990, which was echoed by many others. Of course, there are still some gamers who regularly use Diablo IV’s “trading” feature to show off their loot to friends or guild members.

But for now, players will have to wait patiently until Blizzard reopens the "trading" feature along with additional security measures to prevent the vulnerabilities in Diablo IV from being fully exploited.

Diablo IV season 2, called Season of Blood, was released to gamers at 10:00 a.m. on October 17 ( Pacific time, 0:00 a.m. on October 18, Vietnam time) but was forced to postpone due to problems that were difficult to fix immediately, such as "cross-play feature errors between PC and console versions" and "Battle Pass purchase errors".
