This morning (June 7), students in Ho Chi Minh City finished the last subject of the 10th grade entrance exam. To be considered for admission to 10th grade, candidates must take all 3 subjects: Literature, Math, English, and a specialized/integrated subject if applying to specialized classes. Candidates must not have any exam with a score of 0.

According to the plan of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the 10th grade exam scores are expected to be announced on June 20. After the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announces the exam scores, all candidates have the right to request a review. Candidates submit the application for review at the place where they submitted their exam application after the results are announced.

On June 21, candidates will submit their application for review of their exam results at the school they attended. On June 24, the Department of Education and Training will announce the admission scores for specialized and integrated high schools and the direct admission results.

June 15 to June 29: Candidates admitted to specialized high schools, integrated high schools and direct admission submit their admission applications to the schools they have been admitted to.

June 30: Announcement of the results of the review. The scores of the exams after the review are the official scores of the candidates and are updated to the system. Candidates will receive a new score sheet (when there is a change in score) at the school they registered for admission.

On July 10, the admission scores for more than 100 public schools and the list of successful candidates were officially announced. From July 11 to August 1, successful high school candidates will submit their admission applications to the schools they have been admitted to.

This year, the number of 9th grade students in Ho Chi Minh City who are expected to graduate from junior high school is 113,802. Of which, the total number of candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam is 96,325, divided into groups: candidates who only register for 3 regular wishes are 88,237; candidates who register for integrated wishes are 1,147; candidates who register for specialized wishes are 6,941, of which 236 are from other provinces.
