Recently, social networks shared a video of "fish swimming around the house" after a heavy rain. Water flooded the house, causing flooding. Not only was the house feared to be damaged by furniture and electrical equipment, the homeowner also exclaimed, "This is the first time in Hanoi that fish have been swimming around my feet."
A school of fish swam around the house to "explore", leaving the homeowner in a "half-crying, half-laughing" situation. Not only the small fish, in another video, the poster also revealed that catfish also swam into her house after heavy rain.

The video quickly attracted the attention of the online community, receiving more than one million views, hundreds of thousands of likes and comments.
"No need to go back to the countryside to grow vegetables and raise fish anymore. Now we raise fish at home," account Nguyen Hien humorously said.
"The house was flooded but the homeowner seemed very happy to have a school of fish swimming around," commented user Huu Chien.
Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Ms. S.D. (the person who posted the video) said that her family lives in Lien Phuong commune (Thuong Tin district, Hanoi), her house was flooded since July 23 due to heavy rain. This is the third consecutive year that the area where she lives has been flooded.
Due to the impact of storm No. 2, Hanoi had rain for two days (July 23 and 24), many streets and residential areas were deeply flooded, affecting traffic and people's lives.
According to records on July 24 in Lien Phuong commune, prolonged rain caused flooding on many roads and houses, the deepest point of flooding was about 0.5m.

Last year, Ms. D's village repaired and raised the road to avoid the rainy season. However, "it is unclear whether it is due to the drainage system or a blockage somewhere", but this year the flooding is more serious than usual.
Local people said it had been a long time since "Lien Phuong commune was flooded so deeply".
"Every year, after heavy rain, there is a phenomenon of schools of fish swimming into houses. They are all fish from people's ponds, of all types and sizes," said Ms. D., adding that people go fishing together, some people catch a whole sack full of fish.
As soon as they discovered the water was flooding into the house and rising, Ms. D's family quickly turned off all the circuit breakers and unplugged all the appliances in the house to ensure safety.
"Although the sun has risen and the surrounding villages have drained the water, my place still has no drainage," the woman said.
After 3 days, the water started to recede, she discovered that the wooden cabinet was damaged, had to drain the water tank to clean it.
