The Power of Unity
In November 2025, the 10-class residential complex of Long Thanh commune (An Giang province) is bustling in the atmosphere of National Unity Day. Khmer melodies are harmonized with smooth chants and lively tug-of-war games that make the day an occasion for spiritual bonding, community connection.
Danh Thuong, hugging Kang Son, shared: "The atmosphere of the festival is very happy, this year it's even happier than every other year". With joy, Mr. Danh Huynh (60 years old, from Cỏ Khía) said: "My grandmother makes no distinction between Chin, Khmer or any ethnic group, they are all dark neighbors who turn off their lights together. The festival is not only fun but also helps to strengthen neighborhood friendship.
The Day of Solidarity in Long Thanh is a vivid picture of the spirit of solidarity among all people in An Giang - a land that brings together 29 ethnic groups, 14 religions and rich cultural identities. Such diversity places high demands on mass mobilization work, but at the same time it is also a valuable resource to help community cohesion, maintain stability and promote development.

Under the leadership of the Provincial Commission, the administration's executive and in close coordination with MTTQ and organizations political - social, national unity continues to be strengthened, becoming the key for An Giang to successfully implement its goals of socio-economic development and maintaining defense security.
Renewal of Propaganda
Commissioner of the Standing Committee for Provincial Affairs, Deputy Chairman of the Vietnamese People's Congress An Giang Lê Thanh Việt said that in 2024-2029, the provincial people's congress has boldly renewed its content and form of propaganda, promoting effective oral propaganda through meetings, dialogues and community activities.
Many innovative models have been implemented such as propaganda through social networks, building community groups in residential neighborhoods, integrating content into religious life, organizing concise and easy-to-understand online propaganda sessions so that information reaches people quickly, visually and more easily.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in An Giang Province also cooperates with the Newspapers and Radio - Television An Giang to build special pages, periodical columns; maintain quality electronic information page, Frontline Work News, Facebook Fanpage, Zalo.
The work of capturing the people's situation and social opinion is also enhanced thanks to propaganda organizations and collaborators. Through this, the Front timely guides public opinion, reflects legitimate petitions by the people at the level of committees and governments, while actively refuting misinformation on cyberspace, said Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of MTT Vietnam Province An Giang Lê Thanh Việt.
During its tenure, the province-wide MTTQ organized more than 25,000 campaigns, attracting nearly 1 million participants, contributing to strengthening social consensus and increasing people's trust.
Surveillance, social criticism is heightened
Participating in building the Party and government has always been a central task of MTTQ at all levels. Direct dialogue meetings between committee-level leaders, governments and people are organized, creating forums for people to contribute opinions, reflect their thoughts and aspirations.
In the process of collecting opinions on important draft laws and documents, MTTQ An Giang has attracted more than 13,000 comments, including over 11,500 from individuals and over 1,600 from agencies and organizations.
MTTQ Vietnam Socialist New Alliance coordinated the organization of a conference to contact voters.
The Front also contributed hundreds of proposals, projects and nearly 800 draft texts to the HND, UBND and departments, sectors; organized 428 monitoring sessions on pressing issues such as land, social security, administrative reforms, negative prevention.

The Race Movement: Spreading the Spirit of Humanity
Ms. Nguyen Thi Chiu, a lonely elderly man in Tân Huy commune, who used to live in the tent house, is now supported by the Solidarity House.
Not only Ms. Chiang, the movement to remove temporary housing and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025 in An Giang Province has supported 9,082 homes for households with housing difficulties, of which 7,185 newly built and 1,897 repaired apartments, a total budget of over VND 480 billion, demonstrating deep humanitarian spirit.
Deputy Chairman of the Vietnamese People's Committee in An Giang Province Ngô Phương Vũ gave gifts to people from Rạch Giá district.
Campaigns such as "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized cities" achieved high efficiency: the percentage of cultural households is over 90%, cultural settlements 99%.
The Poor People's Fund received over VND145 billion, through which 1,530 houses were built and 1,193 Solidarity Houses repaired; social security programs reached more than VND90 billion.
The people of An Giang joined hands to support the needs of their fellow countrymen who were affected by natural disasters and floods in 2025.
Disaster relief activities spread the spirit of mutual solidarity promoted by MTT at all levels in An Giang province. The provincial front has campaigned to support the people of northern provinces damaged by Typhoon No. 3 - Cyclone Yagi in 2024, with more than VND 56. 8 billion; Campaign in support of compatriots affected by natural disasters, floods and storms in 2025, with over VND 30 billion; Supporting more than 50 tons of goods, essential supplies for the Thai Nguyen and Lang Son people to overcome natural disaster and flood.
A New Mission: Stepping into the Age of Growth
For the 2025-2030 period, Vietnam's An Giang Provincial Council will continue to play a key role in building national unity, enhancing surveillance and social protest; protecting people's legitimate rights; promoting people's foreign affairs and innovating activities towards facilities.
Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee for Vietnamese Enterprise in An Giang Le Thanh Viet said: "With the motto 'Unity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development', the provincial enterprise takes people as the center, subject and motivation of all activities.
The An Giang Provincial Council is determined to move from a formal movement to actual results, taking the effectiveness and benefits of the People as a measure. Each program, model are quantified by specific data, capable of replication and direct impact on people's lives.
With new faith and determination, the Vietnamese Enterprise of An Giang Province aims to build a fast-growing, sustainable homeland that contributes with the whole country into a new era.
