In 2024, Ha Tinh tourism will have many bright spots, with many activities organized enthusiastically, rich in form and content. The total number of visitors will reach 5,645,061 (an increase of 67.9% compared to 2023), with 907,540 guests staying (domestic guests will reach 891,822, international guests will reach 15,718).

In the first quarter of 2025, the total number of visitors is expected to reach 925,692 (an increase of 36.5% over the same period in 2024). International visitors are 3,688 (an increase of 145% over the same period in 2024); domestic visitors are 145,137 (an increase of 31.9% over the same period in 2024).

The province currently has 312 hotels and motels with nearly 7,000 rooms. There are 24 travel agencies (9 international travel agencies, 15 domestic travel agencies), 6 tourism transport enterprises, and 17 tourist areas and spots that have been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as provincial-level tourist areas and spots.

In 2024, public investment capital has been allocated for 6 tourism - service projects with a total capital of 135.85 billion VND; a number of tourism and service projects are also in the process of research and survey such as: Commercial, service, tourism and sports area in the Southwest of Thach Ha district; Xuan Dan - Xuan Pho tourist urban area; Ky Nam tourist urban area... Currently promoting the exploitation of product types: sea tourism; historical - cultural, spiritual tourism; eco-tourism; rural agricultural tourism.

In 2025, Ha Tinh aims to welcome 6,500,000 visitors, an increase of 15% compared to 2024. The number of overnight guests will reach 1,000,000, an increase of 9.4%. Continue to guide and supervise localities with coastal tourism areas to implement activities related to the 2025 coastal tourism opening festival.

The tourism industry continues to research and develop policies and mechanisms to support tourism development in the 2026-2030 period. Implement administrative reforms well, create a favorable environment, fair competition, encourage and attract strategic investors, especially large corporations. Diversify tourism products towards the goal of overcoming seasonality. Focus on researching and investing in additional and supporting tourism services to increase the attractiveness of tourism products. Promote communication activities, promote attractive destinations and tourism products; form tours in which Ha Tinh is the destination instead of just a stopover.

At the meeting, delegates focused on clarifying the achieved results and delving into the difficulties and problems that need to be resolved, and solutions to effectively carry out the task of tourism development in 2025; especially the preparation for activities related to the 2025 sea tourism opening festival.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Tat Thang requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, localities and tourism enterprises to promote a sense of responsibility, focus highly, and implement many solutions to attract tourists to visit and relax, creating new momentum and spirit, making Ha Tinh tourism develop more and more, becoming a spearhead economic sector of the province.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism focuses on checking and reviewing contents to be ready for the new tourist season; urging and checking the preparation work of tourist areas and spots in the area, ensuring security and safety. Diversifying forms of promotion and propaganda, creating highlights; launching writing, photo and video clip contests to spread the beauty of Ha Tinh homeland; proactively hosting major events.

At the same time, it is necessary to diversify tourism products; arrange a suitable and standardized service supply chain, create Ha Tinh's own culinary brand, develop new types of services such as: beach sports, jet skiing, kayaking, sup rowing, etc.

The tourism management boards proactively work with local businesses, organize signing and listing contracts, and agree on service prices; the Ha Tinh Tourism Association strengthens tour connections, connects and supports each other for mutual development.
