Ministry of Foreign Affairs awards Medal 'For the Cause of Vietnam's Diplomacy' to Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Vietnam

On March 28, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, authorized by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Director of the Americas Department Le Chi Dung awarded the "For the cause of Vietnamese diplomacy" Medal to Mr. Jaime Yorquis Francisco Rodriguez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director General Le Chi Dung highly appreciated the Ambassador's contributions which have deepened and expanded many cooperation opportunities between the two countries in recent times. The contributions of Ambassador Jaime Yorquis Francisco Rodriguez were highly recognized by President Luong Cuong during the farewell reception on March 20.

With the high appreciation of President Luong Cuong, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam is pleased to present Ambassador Jaime Yorquis Francisco Rodriguez with the Diplomatic Service Medal. Director General Le Chi Dung believes that, no matter where he is in his position, with his affection and understanding for Vietnam, the Ambassador will continue to be a bridge between the two peoples and make positive contributions to promoting the good relations between Vietnam and the Dominican Republic.

Director Le Chi Dung affirmed that these are noble awards to recognize the contributions of Ambassador Jaime Yorquis Francisco Rodriguez during his term of office and wished the Ambassador good health, peace, and success in the coming time.
