27 years younger girlfriend stays by Brad Pitt's side during his saddest moment

A source close to PEOPLE tells PEOPLE that Ines de Ramon has a close relationship with Brad Pitt's family. "She wants to be with him and Brad wants her to be special to him," the source says.

At the time he heard the news of his mother's death, Brad Pitt was filming David Fincher's new film The Adventures of Cliff Booth , a sequel to Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, which won him an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor .
