130 US and Korean fighter jets conduct joint exercises

The exercise was held at Osan Air Base in South Korea, according to a statement on the US Pacific Air Forces website.

The South Korean Air Force said the exercise involved 130 fighter jets from both countries, including F-35 fighter jets, simulating 24-hour wartime operations, according to Reuters. The Australian air force also participated in the exercise.

As of last night, there was no information about the reaction of the DPRK. Pyongyang has long condemned the joint US-South Korea military exercises as rehearsals for invasion and evidence of the hostile policies of Washington and Seoul.
